Eric, whenever I think of you, the first thing that pops into my head is how you were a good friend to everyone. Especially to my brother Kevin; and truthfully, you’ve always been my favorite out of his friends because I felt at ease with you the most. I have always struggled connecting with others and yet I never have with you. I felt like I could talk to you about everything and nothing at the same time. So, I’d like to thank you for being my friend, and I wish I could’ve thanked you a lot sooner for that. You may or may not have known this, but your friendship really meant the world to me.

Some of my favorite memories growing up are to do with you. Especially when you guys were all in high school, and I’d go in Kevin’s room and watch you guys all play World of Warcraft. And of course going to all the Marvel movies, and sometimes going out to eat. How you were able to tell which Sprite was from where at local fast food chains — a rather impressive feat.

And I’ll always remember you for your hugs — a specialty that runs in your family especially with your mom. Tate Hugs are no ordinary hugs, but rather hugs where you can actually feel the love and care. Hugs that make you forget your troubles, and make you feel all better.

Eric, you were truly one of a kind, and I’ll always be thinking of you. Love and miss you always.
