To my dearest friend, I am grateful to have the privilege of knowing you for 25 incredible years. Your jolly and happy demeanor, combined with your genuine nature, made you a true light in my life.
Our friendship, forged since the days of third grade, has been a constant source of joy and laughter.
Our shared passion for video games brought us countless hours of fun and memories that I will treasure forever. I will cherish our all-nighters playing Halo/Starcraft/Diablo/WoW and chugging Bawls (no homo).
Growing up, I was reserved and scared to put myself out there, scared of going out of my comfort zone. You were always the person I wish I could be more like. Nothing stopped you from doing something you thought you could enjoy. You were willing to try anything Boy Scouts, the Golf team, the Basketball team, even 8th the Grade school play.
I still remember during a middle school basketball game you got fouled and got on the line to shoot a free throw. Somehow you managed to shoot the ball clear over the backboard. Instead of being embarrassed, you turned around and pointed to the ball, which was well out of bounds, laughed and stated “Did you see that!”
As life went on and we developed our own lives. Though we spent more time apart, we always remained in touch and when we did finally meet up it was as if no time was lost. I will miss talking to someone about everything, yet nothing at the same time.
I feel honored to have had you in my life, I miss you.
See you in Valhalla broski.
