Eric James Tate1989 - 2022

Eric has meant so much to me throughout our entire relationship. He has also been so many things to me, my best friend and the love of my life. He had so much to give to everyone around him and he was truly a light in this world. He cared about everyone in his life so much and would always be there to help you with anything you needed. My favorite memories of him were basically just talking to him about anything and everything for hours and the way we would laugh so much.

We had the most amazing time when we went on a cruise for my best friends wedding. It was so carefree and we had the most fun when we were off hanging out together doing anything at all. We went to a restaurant on Grand Turk and got these big clock drinks… literally a huge clock with alcohol in it lol. We stayed there for hours and just talked and laughed.

I remember when he was really sick from chemo once and he went to lay on chair in the living room. I went with him and laid on the couch next to him. I was too tired to think but even after he was so ill he still covered me with a blanket. That’s who he was.

The joy he would get out of building legos and talking about his interests just made you feel so happy to listen and be a part of his life. He was so extremely funny too and one of his best features was his laugh. I will forever miss him and love him.
