I spent all day today thinking of a good story to share, and it just hit me.
Back in 2007, World of Warcraft had an expansion called “The Burning Crusade” and Eric was working at GameStop at the time. Eric loved doing things for others and being the guy that came through for his friends. He worked the midnight release until about 1am, loaded up his car with all of our copies of the game, and drove to each of our houses to hand deliver them. I remember quietly going outside and greeting him. He opened his trunk and had them all lined up. He was joking around and acted like he was selling me illegal goods. He gave me my game, and I went back inside and started installing it. Eric then selflessly went all over town dropping off the game to his friends at 2 in the morning. I can’t recall if he ever got to install it himself that night, but he made sure that his friends were taken care of.
